Do you have kids? Grand-kids, maybe?
How would you feel if the America they grew up in bore more resemblance to Poland circa 1965 than it does to the free America you grew up in?
Think it couldn’t happen? Have you noticed your liberties slipping away? Are you as free today as you were ten years ago? Is the government demanding more? Regulating more? Infringing on your right to decide for yourself and your family in more areas more?
You bet it is!
Government today no longer thinks it needs the limitations of the Constitution, and is free to do as it pleases. So, I ask you, where will it stop?
If things continue as they are today, when our grand-kids are raising theire families, will Americans still be free? I have very serious doubts that it will be.
And that is why I will work to make a difference. I will do what I can do, whatever that may be. Because I could not bear the look on my grand-kids faces when they ask me, “Why didn’t you do something?”. So, I am doing something. Won’t you watch a video with me?
When I watch Herman Cain, I feel proud to call myself an American, and I can feel the freedom that he represents. I know that if Herman Cain is elected President in 2012, America will begin to turn around, and we will once again be a free people, unfettered by an intrusive government bureaucracy like the one we have today that has us on a fast track to socialism.
Therefore, I will sacrifice now, so that I don’t have to ever hear my grand-kids ask me that terrible question.

Great post John. What a great campaign slogan. Do you feel as free today as you did four years ago? My nieces are my motivation for backing Cain with every bit of gusto I have. America is at a crossroads. Their liberties are at stake.

Yes, their liberties are very definitely at stake. I get very emotional thinking that they may not grow up with the opportunities that I had, and I know that I must do all that I can to prevent that from happening.
As far as campaign slogans, that will be a good one. Then, there is another tha will have a familiar ring to it: “It’s the economy, stupid!”.
